TDP Alleges Systematic Sabotage of Teacher Recruitment by YSRCP

Telugu Desam Party MLA Julakanti Brahmananda Reddy has accused the former YSRCP administration of deliberately obstructing the ongoing Mega DSC recruitment process. Speaking at the party’s Mangalagiri office, Reddy characterized the previous government’s record as a calculated betrayal of unemployed youth through broken promises and stagnant hiring policies.

Reddy leveled sharp criticism against former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, describing his governance as a period defined by the failure to deliver on over 150 campaign pledges. According to the TDP spokesperson, the previous regime weaponized job calendars to mislead the public while failing to initiate a single significant teacher recruitment drive during its tenure.

In contrast, the MLA highlighted the current administration’s progress, specifically crediting Education Minister Nara Lokesh for the transparent appointment of 16,347 teachers. Reddy argued that this shift marks a necessary pivot toward supporting young professionals, contrasting it with what he termed the previous government’s broader failures in irrigation and economic policy. He urged voters to support the current alliance’s economic revival agenda, claiming the former leadership continues to prioritize political division over the state's functional development.
