Siddaramaiah dismisses BJP padayatra as political theater

He suggested the opposition's march serves only as a physical exercise for its participants rather than a genuine response to public grievances.

Conversely, BJP state president BY Vijayendra has launched a 10-day march from Lingasugur to Ballari, framing it as a direct challenge to the Congress government. Speaking at the Sri Amareshwara Temple, Vijayendra declared that the party intends to sustain its campaign against the current leadership until it is removed from power. He characterized the march as a historic effort to mobilize North Karnataka, signaling that the BJP plans to spend the coming years highlighting what it describes as the government's failure to serve the public interest.
