Integrated energy firm Lindsayca will serve as the exclusive sponsor for the event's cocktail reception, positioning the company at the center of discussions regarding the country’s gas-to-power pipeline. Nelson Drake, Lindsayca’s Senior Vice President of Business Development, will address the forum to outline the firm’s perspective on regional infrastructure development. This gathering serves as a strategic precursor to the main Caribbean Energy Week, which is set to take place in Guyana from July 13–15, 2027, under the patronage of President Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali.
Lindsayca is currently spearheading the construction of a 300 MW gas-fired power plant and Natural Gas Liquids facility at Wales. This flagship project entered its final phase in June 2026, with electricity generation targeted for December 2026. Upon completion, the facility is expected to double Guyana's total electricity-generation capacity. Beyond its local operations, the company continues to expand its footprint in the Dominican Republic, where it is finalizing the 400 MW Manzanillo Power Land project, alongside ongoing developments in Costa Rica, Venezuela, and Argentina.
