NDA Marks Modi’s Leadership Milestone at Parliamentary Gathering

Inside the GMC Balayogi Auditorium on Tuesday, the NDA Parliamentary Party staged a 'Mangal Milan' to honor Narendra Modi as India’s longest-serving elected Prime Minister. The gathering served as both a formal celebration of his tenure and a welcoming reception for the coalition's newly elected Rajya Sabha members.

Prime Minister Modi arrived at the Parliament Library Building alongside Union Ministers Jitendra Singh, Kiren Rijiju, and Arjun Ram Meghwal. The assembly included key cabinet figures, notably Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The agenda focused on a congratulatory resolution marking the Prime Minister's historic term, followed by his keynote address to the coalition partners.

Simultaneously, the Nationalist Citizens Party of India (NCPI), led by former TMC MP Sudeep Bandyopadhyay, conducted its own inaugural meeting. The group currently faces procedural hurdles, awaiting formal recognition from the Lok Sabha Speaker regarding their merger. Despite this administrative limbo, the NCPI leadership reaffirmed its commitment to the NDA government and pledged to engage actively in upcoming parliamentary sessions.
