Ukraine Targets Russian Logistics in Sea of Azov and Crimea

Thirteen Russian vessels, including ten tankers and a ferry, came under fire in the Sea of Azov on Friday, marking a significant escalation in maritime strikes. Robert Brovdi, commander of Ukraine’s drone forces, confirmed the operation, which coincided with a coordinated aerial assault on energy infrastructure across occupied Crimea.

The strikes hit a diverse array of logistical targets, specifically focusing on ten tankers, a dry cargo ship, and a ferry critical to Moscow’s maritime supply chains. By disrupting these routes, Kyiv aims to degrade the capacity of Russian forces to maintain their presence in the region.

Simultaneously, Ukrainian forces targeted five power substations in occupied Crimea overnight. These attacks against electrical infrastructure are designed to cripple the military supply hubs that rely on the peninsula's grid, further straining the logistics network supporting the front lines.
