Mahant Kamal Nayan Das confirmed the appointment in the absence of key figures Gopal Rao and Champat Rao, who did not attend the session. The board formally accepted the resignations of former General Secretary Champat Rai and Trustee Anil Mishra, both of whom stepped down as scrutiny intensified over potential embezzlement.

Swami Govind Dev Giri Ji Maharaj, the Trust Treasurer, described the organization’s collective distress while addressing the urgent meeting, which was moved forward to address the unfolding crisis. Spiritual leaders and officials gathered to prioritize the restoration of integrity, focusing on rectifying the administrative lapses that permitted these irregularities to occur.
