YSRCP Demands CBI Investigation Into Teacher Recruitment Irregularities

Under the banner of 'Guruvula Diksha,' YSR Congress Party leaders and teacher aspirants gathered at the party's Tadepalli office on Saturday to demand a federal inquiry into the state’s recruitment process. The demonstration marks a sharp escalation in the political standoff over transparency in Andhra Pradesh’s teacher hiring.

Party members, including several MLCs, stood alongside job seekers to voice grievances against what they describe as systemic mismanagement. During the protest, MLC Issac criticized the current administration, arguing that the government has failed to provide the respect and fair treatment necessary for educators. The protesters maintain that only an independent probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation can uncover the inconsistencies they claim have compromised the integrity of the DSC recruitment drive.

While the YSRCP continues to pressure the government for accountability, officials remain unmoved. The state’s fact-check unit has officially dismissed allegations of recruitment failures, insisting that the existing grievance redressal mechanisms are sufficient to resolve any candidate concerns. This clash highlights the deepening divide between opposition claims of administrative negligence and the government's insistence that the hiring process remains sound.
