Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov characterized the circulating reports of a ceasefire initiative as nothing more than media conjecture. Despite the intense diplomatic focus on Tuesday’s summit, Moscow maintains that no substantive framework for negotiation has been presented to Russian officials.
Beyond the peace talks, Peskov rejected claims made by Zelenskiy regarding the deployment of 30,000 North Korean troops within Russian territory. Dismissing the Ukrainian president’s assessment of Russian military strategy, Peskov stated, "It's not for Zelenskiy to talk about our plans."
