BJP Pushes Territorial Integration and Development in Jammu and Kashmir

Five years after the abrogation of Article 370, BJP National President Nitin Nabin arrived in Jammu and Kashmir to consolidate the party’s organizational grip and tout the region's socio-economic alignment with the rest of India. His visit coincides with a renewed push to accelerate central welfare schemes across the territory.

During his two-day visit, Nabin met with National General Secretary Tarun Chugh at the local Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh office to refine the party's strategy. The discussions focused on optimizing the delivery of central initiatives and strengthening the BJP’s influence as both a legislative force and a vigilant opposition. Nabin credited these efforts with fostering a new sense of stability and pride among the youth and women of the region.

Beyond organizational mechanics, the leadership emphasized a dual approach: shielding the area's cultural heritage while aggressively promoting tourism as a primary economic engine. By positioning the party as the architect of the current transformation, the BJP aims to leverage the post-Article 370 climate to secure deeper political roots in the Union Territory.
