NDA Sets Rajya Sabha Seat Split and Launches Andhra Outreach Drive

The National Democratic Alliance has formalized its Rajya Sabha strategy in Andhra Pradesh, securing a three-to-one seat split between the Telugu Desam Party and the Jana Sena Party. This consensus, reached during Thursday's coordination meeting, marks a shift toward unified campaigning ahead of a series of high-profile state events.

Following the seat distribution agreement, the alliance is pivoting toward a statewide campaign to mark two years of governance in Andhra Pradesh alongside the twelve-year tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Public rallies are scheduled for June 9 in Tirupati, June 12 in Amaravati, and June 15 in Visakhapatnam to promote the coalition's record on welfare and regional development.

Union Ministers will join local leaders to showcase 24 primary policy initiatives intended to stimulate industrial investment and local growth. BJP State President P V N Madhav confirmed the coalition remains aligned, framing these upcoming meetings as a vehicle to demonstrate the tangible benefits of the current administration to the electorate.
