Butcher will join the London office as a managing director in November. He spent 15 years at CPP Investments, the Canadian pension fund, rising to managing director of its infrastructure group and most recently leading its global data center strategy. Partners Group said he has worked on transactions involving data centers, transportation and energy.

Degenhardt is due to start as a managing director in Zug in March 2027. He spent more than five years at OMERS Infrastructure, where he was responsible for European portfolio companies. Earlier, he worked in industry for more than 25 years, holding board and executive roles in infrastructure, including as chief executive of German telecommunications company Tele Columbus.

Johnson joined in September 2026 as Senior Lead Asset Manager in London. She moved from iCON Infrastructure, where she worked with management teams and boards to increase the value of portfolio companies. Partners Group said she brings 25 years of experience in infrastructure investment, energy and strategic consulting.

The appointments follow the completion of Partners Group’s largest-ever direct infrastructure investment program, worth more than $15 billion. The company’s infrastructure business manages $41 billion globally across direct investments and secondary strategies. Esther Peiner, its Global Head of Infrastructure, said the new hires’ investment and asset-management experience would be useful in implementing the completed program.
