Vontobel hits record CHF 255.1 billion in assets

Driven by robust market performance and consistent currency tailwinds, Vontobel reached a record CHF 255.1 billion in assets under management by the end of September. This 6 percent increase from year-end 2025 underscores the firm's growth trajectory, even as it navigates complex shifts within its institutional client division.

Vontobel hits record CHF 255.1 billion in assets

The firm’s expansion between January and September was bolstered by CHF 8.7 billion in market gains and CHF 5.5 billion in currency effects. Net new money inflows contributed a further CHF 1.9 billion to the total. When adjusted for specific mandates, net new money reached CHF 8.4 billion, reflecting strong demand for fixed-income products and steady growth across all private client regions.

Institutional client performance remains nuanced. While the division reported unadjusted outflows of CHF 2.0 billion, adjusted figures reveal inflows of CHF 4.6 billion. These adjustments account for CHF 5.1 billion in outflows from quality growth strategies and the transfer of Futura funds to Raiffeisen, which accounted for an additional CHF 1.6 billion. Vontobel has not yet released data regarding its earnings development for the period.
