Jagan Reddy seeks Governor’s intervention over alleged political violence

Reddy claims the unrest, which occurred during peaceful demonstrations, was a calculated move by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Education Minister Nara Lokesh to deflect scrutiny from a burgeoning recruitment scandal. According to the YSRCP president, the administration is utilizing organized groups to intimidate dissenters, effectively creating an environment he described as worse than "Jungle Raj."

The former CM alleges that police personnel stood by while attackers seized equipment and pelted stones at his party members. Despite these injuries, Reddy contends that law enforcement targeted the victims with legal cases rather than the aggressors. He maintains that this pattern of intimidation, supported by biased media coverage, is a systematic attempt to silence those questioning government corruption. Reddy has demanded immediate legal action against Naidu and Lokesh, vowing that his party will persist in its call for a federal investigation into the DSC process regardless of the pressure applied by the state government.
