Yogesh Gehlot led the party’s performance in the Balotra Municipal Council, defeating Congress nominee Ankita with 30 votes to 25. The trend continued across the district’s boards: Nirmala Prajapat in Jasol, Bhagwat Singh in Siwana, Suresh Kumar in Samdari, Champa Devi in Sindhari, and Sheetal Bharat Jain in Gudamalani all secured decisive victories. In Dhorimanna, Kirti Gosainwal took the chairperson seat unopposed.

This success follows the BJP’s recent majority in the Jaipur Municipal Corporation, where the party claimed 78 of the 146 declared wards. With eyes now turning toward the September 25 mayoral elections, the party has positioned Sunil Kothari as its primary candidate. The State Election Commission continues to oversee the broader process for the state’s 305 urban local bodies, with nomination scrutiny for upcoming mayoral races set for September 21.
