TVK accuses Stalin of reducing DMK legacy to political theatrics

Kiruttinan, arguing that the leadership's recent focus on historical violence serves only to remind younger voters of the party's turbulent past.

This exchange follows a heated address by MK Stalin at the annual Mupperum Vizha, where he targeted Chief Minister Joseph Vijay. Stalin questioned the utility of the Chief Minister’s recent London trip, labeling the signing of agreements with Indian firms as a performance rather than governance. He further mocked the TVK administration, suggesting it be renamed "Reels Kazhagam" due to an alleged preoccupation with social media optics over legislative substance. Stalin also pointed to a reported decline in law and order, citing frequent power cuts and rising prices as evidence that the state has become a "hunting ground for criminals." The TVK responded by urging the public to remain vigilant against what they described as the DMK’s exaggerated claims of sacrifice and bravery.
