He claimed this strategy serves to shift public scrutiny away from ongoing allegations regarding a financial scandal involving donations intended for the Ram temple construction. According to the opposition leader, the administration expedited the demolition to effectively preempt and stifle potential legal challenges from the local community.
The former Chief Minister emphasized that true followers of the Hindu faith uphold the principle of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, which precludes the disparagement of other religions. By prioritizing the destruction of a place of worship, the current government has abandoned its duty to foster social cohesion, choosing instead to manipulate religious sentiment for political maneuvering.
