Beyond governance, the speakers explored potential collaborations in health, renewable energy, and infrastructure, reinforcing Seychelles' position as a strategic partner under India’s Vision MAHASAGAR.

Ernesta, who previously trained through the Indian parliamentary system, lauded India as the "mother of democracy" and noted the profound influence of Indic culture on the social fabric of her island nation. The meeting also served to reaffirm a shared commitment to the Global South, with both leaders advocating for closer coordination in multilateral forums. The session, which included participation from Indian MPs D Purandeswari, Aparajita Sarangi, and Himadri Singh, concluded with an open invitation for further legislative exchanges to strengthen the democratic legacy shared by both countries.
