The rigorous selection process, managed by retired Lieutenant General Vishnu Kant Chaturvedi, former scientist Suresh Haware, and former Justice Pramod Kohli, utilized a tiered filtering system to identify the top talent. After an initial screening of 5,585 applications, the committee deployed a 600-mark assessment, requiring candidates to score above 470 to proceed. Of the 108 individuals who cleared this threshold, 17 were shortlisted for virtual interviews before 16 traveled to Ayodhya for final in-person evaluations.
Treasurer Swami Govind Dev Giri Ji Maharaj and other members of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust received the findings during a high-level briefing. While the committee has identified three top-tier candidates who possess the required vision and dedication, the final appointment rests with the Trust. The selection process, which included Ayodhya District Magistrate Shashank Tripathi in its oversight, prioritized transparency to ensure the chosen leader is equipped to handle the temple's significant administrative responsibilities.
