The BJP maintains a strong track record in local contests, notably securing 119 out of 165 seats in Pune during the January elections—a region historically dominated by the Pawar family. This commitment to a joint ticket signals a concerted effort to replicate these results in the municipal and panchayat arenas, preempting potential disputes before the campaign cycle intensifies.
