Karoline Leavitt to Join Pro-Trump Super PAC After White House Exit

Departing White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt will transition to a high-level role at MAGA Inc. following her resignation at the end of this month. The 28-year-old spokeswoman, who previously served the pro-Trump super PAC from 2022 to 2024, intends to shift her focus toward political fundraising and electoral influence.

Leavitt confirmed the move during a Friday briefing, noting she will attend a Republican convention in Dallas, Texas, this September to support party efforts ahead of the midterm elections. While super PACs like MAGA Inc. operate with the ability to raise unlimited funds for advertising, they are legally required to maintain independence from official candidate campaigns.

Her departure follows an August 12 announcement citing a desire to spend more time with her family after the birth of her second child in May. As the youngest person to ever occupy the podium, Leavitt leaves a vacancy that has sparked significant interest. Former President Trump remarked that he has received a record number of applications for the role, though he has yet to announce a successor to lead his press operations.
