Regional governor Andrei Vorobyov reported that the strikes impacted several facilities, most notably a warehouse belonging to the e-commerce titan Wildberries. The company has become a frequent target since the onset of the conflict in 2022. Emergency services responded to debris scattered across multiple sites, though officials described the structural damage to the warehouse as minor.
The scale of the attack, which saw 620 additional drones directed toward the region throughout the night, prompted authorities to ground flights as a precautionary safety measure. The incident represents one of the most intense aerial campaigns against the Russian capital since the war began, highlighting the escalating nature of the conflict as both sides intensify their reach.
