YSRCP Demands CBI Probe into Recruitment Irregularities

Allegations of paper leaks, unauthorized sales of teaching posts, and manipulated sports quotas have triggered a fierce political standoff in Andhra Pradesh. YSRCP leaders are now demanding a formal CBI investigation into the 2025 recruitment processes, challenging the ruling government to prove the integrity of the state’s hiring systems.

YSRCP Demands CBI Probe into Recruitment Irregularities

P Chandrasekhar Reddy, president of the YSRCP Employees' Wing, spearheaded the call for accountability on Sunday, demanding the immediate resignation of Education Minister Nara Lokesh. The party’s push follows persistent claims that the Mega District Selection Committee (DSC)-2025 and APPSC Group-I exams were compromised by systemic corruption. Reddy argued that if the administration maintains that these recruitment drives were conducted fairly, it should welcome an inquiry by the CBI or a sitting judge to clear the air.

This confrontation gained traction after former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy accused the Telugu Desam Party-led government of gross mismanagement. The tension has spilled into the streets, with YSRCP-organized rallies drawing significant crowds of students and job seekers across the state. With the issue poised to dominate upcoming legislative sessions, the opposition has signaled its intent to keep the pressure on the government until these recruitment procedures are subjected to independent scrutiny.
