Chief Electoral Officer Brijesh Pandey confirmed that this Special Intensive Revision focuses on weeding out inaccuracies by verifying household data. From September 15 to October 14, Booth Level Officers will conduct door-to-door surveys to identify deceased or relocated individuals while collecting updated information from residents.
Following the survey, authorities will release a draft electoral roll to facilitate public oversight. Citizens seeking to register as new voters must submit Form 6 during this window. A formal review period will run from October 31 to November 20, providing a structured timeline for residents to file claims or lodge objections regarding the draft entries before the final verification process concludes in late December.
