Standing on the Assembly premises during the monsoon session, Marandi condemned the state government for ignoring the demands of thousands of aspirants. He dismissed the ongoing investigations by the CID and the Anti-Corruption Bureau as a calculated cover-up, claiming these agencies function solely to protect government interests rather than ensure accountability.
BJP MLA Pradip Prasad echoed these sentiments, highlighting the resilience of the students who have protested continuously since the July 5 results announcement. Prasad contrasted their struggle with other demonstrations, arguing that the government has lost its moral authority by allegedly auctioning jobs for financial gain. Meanwhile, AJSU legislator Nirmal Mahto signaled a legislative stalemate, confirming that the opposition will block Assembly proceedings until the Chief Minister authorizes a CBI probe, citing a complete lack of faith in the current state-led investigation.
