The site is also Germany's second-largest cargo hub, processing 1.4 million metric tons of freight annually. This incident follows a string of security alarms across Europe, including suspicious incendiary devices found in DHL parcels earlier this year and unauthorized drone sightings over energy terminals and military bases.
