Tatyana Kim labels Ukrainian drone strikes on Wildberries as terrorism

Ukrainian drone strikes targeting Wildberries facilities are deliberate acts of terrorism intended to destabilize the civilian population, according to CEO Tatyana Kim. Since July 18, over a dozen of the retailer’s sites have been hit, forcing a rapid logistics overhaul to protect vendors operating across ten different countries.

The company, which serves as a cornerstone of the Russian consumer economy, is currently coordinating with state authorities to develop a support scheme for affected vendors. Kim confirmed that specific relief measures will be unveiled shortly as the firm shifts inventory to alternate hubs to maintain delivery schedules. While Ukrainian officials have justified the targeting of these sites by citing the retailer's purported role in supplying the Russian military, the CEO dismissed these claims as baseless. Kim argued that the platform’s inventory mirrors the dual-use goods commonly sold on global marketplaces like Amazon and Alibaba, asserting that the attacks are specifically designed to incite panic among millions of Russian citizens rather than achieve a military objective.
