Parliamentary Deadlock Over NEET Paper Leak

Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju accused the INDIA bloc on Thursday of stalling a scheduled debate on the NEET exam paper leak. Despite an initial consensus to address the crisis, the Opposition introduced new conditions, effectively halting parliamentary proceedings and deepening the political divide over systemic testing failures.

The atmosphere inside Parliament turned hostile as the NEET controversy spilled over into direct confrontations between NDA and INDIA bloc members. Rijiju characterized the Opposition's sudden change of stance as a tactical maneuver to disrupt the session rather than engage in substantive policy review.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has since pledged that the government is implementing measures to secure future examinations. However, these assurances have done little to quiet the unrest outside the legislature, where student protests continue to demand accountability and fundamental reforms to the testing infrastructure.
