Ayodhya Trust Overhauls Ram Temple Donation and Management Protocols

Five prominent seers have assumed interim oversight of the Ram Temple, replacing traditional administrative structures to stabilize operations. This shift follows public scrutiny over donation handling and procedural inefficiencies, signaling a move toward rigorous transparency and the direct integration of local religious leaders into the temple's daily management framework.

Dinnendra Das, a member of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, confirmed that current darshan flows and financial contributions remain steady. Addressing previous friction points, Das pointed to external logistical bottlenecks in banking and local policing as the primary drivers of recent operational friction. To rectify these, the Trust is moving to standardize internal workflows before the formal appointment of a permanent CEO.

Transparency remains the central pillar of these reforms, evidenced by the installation of live CCTV monitoring across donation centers. Mahant Kamal Nayan Das noted that the inclusion of Ayodhya’s saint community serves as a bridge between religious tradition and institutional management. Plans are currently underway to host a gathering of local clergy, aimed at formalizing priest training programs and expanding the involvement of saints in the long-term stewardship of the temple complex.
