Côte d'Ivoire Launches Digital Hub to Track Private Investment

To secure its ambitious 2030 economic targets, Côte d'Ivoire has unveiled a digital platform designed to centralize private investment data. Supported by a $14.2 million grant from the African Development Bank, the system aims to replace fragmented reporting with a streamlined, data-driven approach to national economic policy.

Côte d'Ivoire Launches Digital Hub to Track Private Investment

Known as the One-Stop Shop for Private Investment Reporting (GUDIP), the platform launched on 10 July 2026 under the management of the Investment Promotion Centre of Côte d'Ivoire (CEPICI). By unifying information for the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Budget, the tool provides a clearer view of sector performance and capital flows. Officials anticipate that this digital infrastructure will enable more precise annual reporting and foster better coordination across public institutions responsible for development.

The initiative is a cornerstone of the country's 2026–2030 National Development Plan, which seeks to mobilize approximately $209 billion in total investment. With the private sector expected to account for 70.2 per cent of this funding, the government views the platform as a vital mechanism to build investor confidence and ensure transparency. By tracking these capital commitments in real-time, policymakers intend to refine their strategies to transition the nation into an upper-middle-income economy within the next five years.
