AAP and CJP Intensify Protests Over NEET Exam Scandal

Outside the Parliament’s Makar Dwar, the air turned thick with defiance as Aam Aadmi Party MPs clashed with security forces. Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh labeled the police response a brutal suppression of dissent, drawing a stark historical parallel to the Jallianwala Bagh massacre while demanding accountability for the NEET paper leak.

The demonstration, fueled by allegations of administrative negligence regarding the 2024 NEET examination, saw protesters demanding the resignation of the Union Education Minister. Singh criticized the government’s reliance on force, arguing that the baton has replaced essential dialogue. He further targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi, contrasting his frequent international engagements with the mounting domestic crisis surrounding the integrity of national entrance exams.

Simultaneously, the Cockroach Janata Party escalated its own agitation, deepening the political standoff. Violence flared as the protest intensified, resulting in injuries among both demonstrators and Delhi Police personnel. Amidst the chaos, BJP leader JP Nadda attempted to stabilize the situation, insisting that the government remains committed to open channels of communication while calling for an immediate restoration of order.
