Kyiv Under Fire: Casualties Reported Following Massive Missile Barrage

Emergency crews scrambled to extinguish fires and clear debris as the bombardment, involving 41 missiles, left buildings in ruins across the city. Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that several civilians suffered serious injuries, adding to the toll of a night defined by sustained air raid sirens and explosions.

While Ukrainian air defense units intercepted a portion of the incoming weaponry, the military remains constrained by dwindling interceptor supplies. Zelenskiy urged international partners to expedite the delivery of defensive systems, emphasizing that the ability to neutralize these barrages is the primary factor in protecting the capital's remaining infrastructure.
