Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed that the assault hit multiple districts, damaging a dormitory, a residential building, and a warehouse facility. The force of the blasts set several office buildings and parked vehicles ablaze, turning sections of the city into active fire zones. Ukraine’s air force had previously issued urgent warnings regarding a ballistic missile threat, prompting residents to seek shelter before the impacts.
Beyond the city limits, the regional military administration reported further damage to warehouses in the Kyiv area, where two additional people sustained injuries. Rescue teams are currently navigating the debris to assess the full scale of the destruction across both the capital and the surrounding districts.
