Shahnawaz Hussain Backs NEET Reforms and Demands Parliamentary Decorum

As the dust settles on the NEET UG 2026 results, BJP leader Syed Shahnawaz Hussain has pivoted from defending the integrity of the testing process to demanding a shift in tone from the Opposition, urging them to abandon disruptive tactics during the upcoming Monsoon Session of Parliament.

The BJP leader credited the government for swiftly addressing student anxieties following the release of results for the 11.21 lakh candidates who qualified. Hussain maintained that systemic corrections are already underway to fortify the examination process against future paper leaks, signaling a hardening of the government’s stance on testing security.

Looking toward the parliamentary calendar, which spans from July 20 to August 13, Hussain challenged Rahul Gandhi and other opposition leaders to move past the confrontational style that defined previous sessions. He argued that the legislative body requires a commitment to decorum and substantive dialogue rather than the procedural gridlock that has characterized recent months.
