Booth Level Officers are now tasked with house-to-house verification beginning June 25 and running through August 3, a deadline that also applies to the rationalisation of polling stations. Once these foundational tasks conclude, the draft electoral roll will be made public on August 10. Citizens will have until September 9 to submit claims or lodge objections regarding their registration status.
Following the draft release, election authorities have allotted time from August 10 to October 8 to process these submissions and issue necessary notices. The final version of the electoral roll is now slated for publication on October 12. Sandeep Kumar, Under Secretary of the Election Commission, confirmed the directive in a formal letter to the Chief Electoral Officer of Telangana, emphasizing the need for broad public awareness and direct notification of political parties.
