Ajay Rai Demands Supreme Court Probe into Ayodhya Temple Finances

The call for judicial oversight follows reports that RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat acknowledged financial misappropriations within the temple administration. While Bhagwat has pledged to introduce stricter safeguards, Rai remains unconvinced, labeling the RSS and the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party as partners in a deliberate scheme designed to facilitate embezzlement. He further alleged that the diverted funds were funneled toward the Prime Minister’s Office.

Currently, the state government is conducting a probe through a Special Investigation Team, which recently uncovered significant security lapses at the site. Rai rejected the credibility of this team, arguing that its proximity to the administration prevents any genuine discovery of truth. The Supreme Court is expected to review the matter shortly, a proceeding that will test the efficacy of the ongoing security and financial audits.
