Vishwa Hindu Parishad International President Alok Kumar has urged political leaders and the public to withhold judgment until the Special Investigation Team completes its probe. Kumar expressed deep concern regarding the misappropriation claims, noting that the remaining trustees share this distress. The government-led investigation began immediately after an FIR was filed, prompted by initial findings of financial irregularities.

To maintain continuity, Krishna Mohan has assumed the role of General Secretary on an interim basis. Meanwhile, a committee of retired officials is currently vetting candidates for the permanent CEO position. Swami Govind Dev Giri Maharaj, the Trust Treasurer, recently moved to reassure donors that all assets and articles remain secure, signaling the organization's intent to cooperate fully with legal authorities to resolve the crisis.
