Revanth Reddy Backs Rahul Gandhi for Prime Minister

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has officially thrown his support behind Rahul Gandhi for the next Prime Minister of India. Speaking at a public rally in Midjil Mandal on Saturday, Reddy framed the leadership change as a historical necessity required to secure the nation’s long-term developmental trajectory.

Reddy challenged the electorate to maintain Congress rule through 2034, arguing that the party’s vision remains the only path forward for the state. He anchored his appeal in the legacy of Sonia Gandhi, crediting her with the creation of Telangana. Drawing on his own political rise from a local Midjil Mandal representative to the state’s top office, the Chief Minister urged voters to reject the previous administration. He specifically targeted former Chief Minister KCR of the BRS, labeling the past decade as a period defined by financial mismanagement and systemic corruption. By contrasting these grievances with current welfare initiatives, Reddy positioned his government as the antidote to the debt-ridden governance of his predecessors.
