The data, gathered from 4,999 respondents between June 26 and 30, shows the president pulling away from the son of former leader Jair Bolsonaro. While an April survey placed both candidates in a dead heat at 48%, the current figures give Lula a clear 6.5-point advantage. The poll carries a margin of error of one percentage point.
Lula’s momentum extends to the first-round projections as well, where he holds 46.3% of the vote compared to 36.6% for the opposition senator. These results suggest a consolidation of support for the current administration as the political field crystallizes ahead of future electoral cycles.
