Nitin Nabin heads to Punjab for three-day BJP outreach mission

BJP President Nitin Nabin arrives in Punjab on June 20 for a three-day intensive tour, shifting the party’s focus toward grassroots organization and electoral strategy. His itinerary balances spiritual visits to Amritsar’s major temples with high-stakes meetings aimed at challenging the current state government’s grip on power.

The tour begins with a series of prayer visits to the Golden Temple, Durgiana Temple, and Sri Ram Tirath Valmiki Temple. By the afternoon, Nabin will shift to internal party operations, convening with the core group to assess the political landscape. A roadshow in Jalandhar will conclude the first day, serving as a public display of the party's mobilizing power.

On June 21, the focus transitions to Phagwara for International Yoga Day, followed by strategic discussions in Ludhiana regarding organizational expansion. The final day centers on a meeting with current and former legislators, alongside a youth-focused dialogue aimed at securing the next generation of party workers. National General Secretary Tarun Chugh underscored the significance of the visit, positioning it as a direct challenge to the AAP administration. Chugh characterized the current state climate as one of economic distress and security failures, asserting that the BJP’s arrival marks the beginning of a shift toward stability and development.
