The Congress leader’s campaign arrives as the NEET-UG examination faces intense scrutiny over paper leaks and systemic mismanagement. Gandhi argues that the government has abandoned its duty to provide security and honesty to job aspirants, citing rising fees and cancelled recruitments as evidence of a broken system. He has called upon students and educators to unite, framing the upcoming conventions as a necessary clarion call for political change.
Following the event in Kota, Gandhi plans to take his message to Allahabad, Patna, and Delhi throughout July. This strategy seeks to consolidate support among Gen Z voters and those directly affected by recent recruitment controversies. In response, the Bharatiya Janata Party has pushed back against the initiative. BJP MP Sambit Patra accused the Congress leader of attempting to mislead children and deliberately inducing stress among students ahead of critical exams, arguing that Gandhi’s actions demonstrate a fundamental lack of responsibility in public life.
