Reddy characterized the disqualification of Natarajan as a transition from mere electoral manipulation to the outright theft of legislative seats. By framing the decision as an assault on Gandhian principles, the Chief Minister positioned the BJP’s actions as both anti-democratic and hostile toward women in leadership. He noted that his administration is currently consulting with legal advisors to determine the next steps regarding the Supreme Court’s involvement in the case.
Beyond national election disputes, Reddy addressed the controversy surrounding the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency, dismissing recent media comparisons of his governance style to historical dictators. He also pivoted to state infrastructure, calling out Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy for allegedly failing to secure federal funding for Telangana. While the Chief Minister welcomed political competition from figures like Pawan Kalyan, he maintained a firm stance against any external influence that threatens the state’s distinct regional identity.
