BJP Marks 12 Years of Modi Leadership at Poonch Tunnel Site

At the construction site of the Bhata Durrian tunnel in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district, BJP leaders gathered to mark 12 years of Narendra Modi’s tenure. The event, held near a strategic highway project, served as a platform to highlight the administration’s infrastructure focus and broader national development goals.

Senior party figure Ravinder Raina led the commemoration, framing the Prime Minister’s record as a transformative period for the country. He pointed to the scale of nationwide projects extending from Gujarat to Arunachal Pradesh, positioning the current government's work as a unified effort across diverse regions. Central to the narrative was the Bhata Durrian tunnel, an infrastructure endeavor carrying an investment of over Rs 5,000 crore. The project is designed to bridge critical gaps for both civilian travelers and the military, aiming to bolster connectivity in a rugged, sensitive border terrain.

District president Gurdeep Singh Khalsa echoed these sentiments, linking the local project to the wider 'Viksit Bharat' vision. Beyond the tunnel, the rally served to amplify the impact of national welfare initiatives and the efforts of the Border Roads Organisation. By choosing a high-stakes construction site for the anniversary, party organizers emphasized that their political longevity is tied directly to the completion of physical infrastructure projects intended to reshape regional logistics.
