The BJP MP dismissed the alliance’s recent focus on electoral integrity as a tired "tape recorder" narrative, deployed only after failing to secure voter support at the polls. While leaders from 23 parties gathered to project a unified front on economic policy and voting procedures, Patra characterized the move as a desperate reaction to an irreversible slide in public trust.
Patra further sharpened his critique by pointing to internal friction within the coalition. He specifically cited persistent discord between the Congress party and the Trinamool Congress as evidence of a fracturing foundation. By focusing on these administrative shifts, the BJP aims to frame the opposition's strategic pivot not as a tactical reorganization, but as a retreat from the broader political stage.
