Trump’s Ohio Rally Veers Into Epstein Claims and Physical Assessments

A campaign stop in Chillicothe, Ohio, took an unconventional turn when Donald Trump broke his usual silence on Jeffrey Epstein, claiming he ejected the late financier from a club decades ago. The remarks, prompted by a protester, shifted rapidly into an unsolicited appraisal of Senator Jon Husted’s physique.

Trump described Epstein as a “wackjob” during the rally, asserting that he had barred him from his property years before the financier’s 2019 death in federal custody. The former president alleged that Epstein socialized primarily with Democrats, a claim he paired with a dismissive swipe at the protester who interrupted the event. Trump has not been accused of any wrongdoing linked to Epstein’s sex trafficking crimes.

Following the digression, the focus moved to Senator Jon Husted. Trump spent several minutes praising the Republican’s athletic build, comparing his transformation to “Clark Kent to Superman.” He remarked that Husted’s physique was “strong as hell,” specifically noting the strength of the senator’s shoulders. This follows a similar performance at an earlier Youngstown rally, where Trump publicly evaluated Husted’s physical appearance, including his hands and posture, after discovering the senator’s history as a college football player.
