Jared Kushner Denies Claims of Secret Middle Eastern Financial Ties

Jared Kushner has dismissed allegations of managing secret, foreign-funded bank accounts during his tenure as a White House adviser, labeling a recent report detailing purported financial arrangements with Saudi and Emirati officials as a collection of fabrications designed to smear his reputation through baseless, sensationalist claims.

The controversy stems from an excerpt in Matthew Cole’s upcoming book, 'Princes and Thieves,' which suggests Dutch intelligence intercepted communications revealing Kushner accessed accounts linked to the United Arab Emirates. The text alleges these funds, involving figures such as UAE ruler Mohamed bin Zayed and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, were intended to influence US foreign policy. Claims suggest that nearly $750 million passed through a foundation account where Kushner was a signatory, with additional allegations of a $1 billion personal transfer facilitated by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Kushner forcefully rejected the narrative in a public statement on X, noting that despite exhaustive congressional and special counsel investigations during his time in office, no such evidence of misconduct ever surfaced. He pointed out the lack of concrete documentation—such as wire records or bank statements—to support the author’s assertions. His attorney, Chad Mizelle, echoed this rejection, stating that the accounts described simply do not exist and confirming that legal action remains a potential response to the publication. While the report has ignited intense scrutiny, the allegations remain unsubstantiated.
