Russian Missile Barrage Leaves Dozens Injured Across Ukraine

Falling debris and direct missile impacts shattered the early morning calm in Kyiv, Odesa, and Zaporizhzhia today. The coordinated aerial offensive left at least 18 people wounded, including children, while tearing through residential apartment blocks and industrial sites, forcing emergency crews to scramble across multiple urban centers simultaneously.

In the capital, Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed that 12 residents were injured as shrapnel from intercepted projectiles rained down on apartment complexes and warehouses. The proximity of the debris to a local petrol station sparked immediate fears of secondary explosions, though municipal teams managed to secure the area.

Further south, the port city of Odesa endured a direct hit on a 19-storey residential building, resulting in injuries that included a child. The violence extended to Zaporizhzhia, where an industrial facility became the target of a missile strike. The ensuing fire required a significant deployment of emergency personnel to contain the blaze and treat the three individuals wounded in that sector.
