During his visit, the minister underscored the importance of Latin America’s status as a nuclear-free zone. In his capacity as chair of CELAC, Lubetkin is pushing for a shift toward political negotiation to address crises in Gaza and Eastern Europe. He described his recent engagements with Indian officials as a foundational step toward establishing a robust, long-term diplomatic framework between the two nations.
