BJP gears up for Uttarakhand polls with aggressive grassroots campaign

With eyes set on a third consecutive term, the BJP has finalized an intensive organizational roadmap for Uttarakhand, prioritizing a reinforced booth-level network and a direct outreach strategy. The plan, solidified in New Delhi, centers on mobilizing senior party figures and streamlining regional coordination ahead of the upcoming assembly elections.

The party’s strategy involves a series of high-stakes meetings across Garhwal and Kumaon. District and mandal presidents will convene in Dehradun on August 8 and Haldwani on August 16 to align regional efforts under the guidance of State General Secretary Tarun Bansal. Concurrent with these sessions, the party will launch the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign and a state-wide Tiranga Yatra, managed by Vipul Mendoli and Shailendra Bisht, to bolster public visibility.

Grassroots mobilization remains the primary focus. Beginning August 19, the BJP will initiate a Booth Empowerment Campaign, followed by targeted sessions for Shakti Kendras starting August 23. Furthermore, State General Secretary Deepti Rawat is tasked with coordinating meetings for MPs and MLAs on August 17 and 18 to ensure legislative alignment. According to Media In-charge Manveer Chauhan, the party will also launch a special outreach program in September, specifically seeking advice from senior workers currently outside the official organizational structure to leverage their institutional experience.
