The current administration, led by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, has issued strict warnings to domestic media outlets against broadcasting her statements, citing a 2024 court order that restricts her public reach. While Dhaka has formally requested her extradition from India, New Delhi maintains that the petition is still under review.
