According to four security sources who spoke on condition of anonymity, German authorities have linked these activities to a centralized effort utilizing various front companies. While Moscow has consistently rejected allegations of election interference, the pattern mirrors recent warnings regarding federal parliamentary races and ongoing efforts to influence political landscapes in Moldova and Armenia. The AfD, meanwhile, continues to campaign on a platform that explicitly calls for restoring diplomatic ties with Russia, further complicating the security environment as voters in the eastern state of Saxony-Anhalt head to the polls.
